Q-Line Biotech Ltd. is gearing up for its initial public offering (IPO), which is set to launch on May 21, 2026. The company plans to issue 6,253,200 equity shares priced between ₹326 and ₹343 each, with the aim of raising approximately ₹214.48 crore. This IPO will represent 26.81% of the company's post-IPO paid-up capital, and shares will be listed on the NSE SME Emerge platform.
Founded in 2013, Q-Line Biotech specializes in the development, manufacturing, and marketing of a wide range of reagents and diagnostic equipment. Over the past 12 years, the company has built a strong brand presence in the in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) industry, focusing on areas such as Clinical Chemistry, Haematology, and Immunodiagnostics. The company has also adapted to market needs by developing Covid-19 testing kits during the pandemic, showcasing its commitment to innovation and quality.
Financially, Q-Line Biotech has shown mixed results. For the fiscal year ending March 2026, the company reported a net profit of ₹38.69 crore on total income of ₹236.50 crore for the first nine months. However, the previous fiscal year saw a decline in net profit to ₹28.13 crore despite higher revenues. The company’s contingent liabilities and overall borrowings have raised concerns among potential investors, highlighting the need for careful financial scrutiny.
The IPO proceeds will be allocated towards working capital, repayment of borrowings, and general corporate purposes. The company has previously raised ₹27.44 crore through a pre-IPO placement, indicating investor interest. However, the lack of listed peers complicates the valuation process, as the company seeks to establish itself in a competitive market.
Looking ahead, Q-Line Biotech's IPO is anticipated to attract medium to long-term investors, despite concerns over its financial stability. The upcoming subscription period will be crucial for determining investor confidence and the company's future trajectory in the public market.
